Immersing myself in You, into Your feelings, into Your gaze
 

A Ti te dejo hacer, o poner, o quitar

I allow You to act in me, to put or to take away

Quiero aprender de Ti a conjugar el verbo amar

I want to learn from You to conjugate the verb to love

Cada rasgo de mí, ha de reflejarte a Ti

Every feature of me, must reflect You

 Cada paso que doy ha de enseñar quien soy

Every step I take must reveal who I am

Que ya no soy quien vive en mí

That I am no longer the one who lives in me

Y sin embargo sé que no logro llegar

And nonetheless I know that I do not succeed

A reflejar Tu Luz, a dejarte brillar

To reflect Your Light, to let you shine

A que puedas crecer y yo menguar

That you may increase and I decrease

Cuánto cuesta ensanchar y abrir el corazón

How hard it is to expand and open wide the heart

Cuánto nos cuesta amar a quien no sabe dar amor

How hard it is for us to love those who do not know how to give love,

Llegar a perdonar a quien nos ofendió

To manage to forgive the one who offended us
