This reflection to the women of our community reveals the truth of how our formation as victim souls united to the Mother of Sorrows and Love crucified expands our maternity as spiritual mothers, bringing life to a holy, transformed priesthood and manhood.
The second audio is a powerful testimony from Maria Hickein, a Mother of the Cross!
Our (MOC) Maternity Brings New Life to Souls
MOC cenacle, 3/7/26
As I ponder Jesus's words from November of 2025 to the most recent of February 2026, I am overwhelmed by a Spouse, the God-Man, who is fully connected with His Human and Divine Heart. A Man who is in touch with His desires and consumed in His deepest longings. A God-Man who lived on earth, attentive to His sorrows and the deep desolation of His Heart. A Man who cried and continues to cry in the Eucharist. A Man who lived His Humanity, of course, one with His Divinity, with all the passions of the human heart, eros, fully integrated in Agape. What a profound sorrow of our Lord, and deep desolation to see such few men, most especially His beloved priests, chosen by God to be living icons of Jesus, Priest-Victim, incapable of entering their own hearts to discover themselves. Men, who do not even desire to enter their hearts, and therefore, remain broken men, oppressed, and unable to know or enter the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and experience intimacy with God.
My little one, full union with God can only come about through death. You must be willing to die so that I can resurrect in you. True union means that you no longer exist, but Christ lives in you just as the Father and I are one; you, too, become one with God. You, through My sacrifice of love for you, become the image and likeness of the Father through your perfect union in My death. Sin brought forth death, but now death to self brings forth new life.
The path I have led you through is the path to death and resurrection. The grain of wheat must die to produce new life (Jn 12:24). Only those who remain with Me through the path of dying to self can experience the joy of rising to new life. Eros lived without Agape brings forth emptiness and slavery, whereas eros consumed in Agape brings forth everlasting joy, the ecstasy of Love. 7/16/23
No human being can die to self without entering into the deepest recesses of their own hearts to be fully realized in Christ. I am being consumed in Jesus’s inner chamber of His desolation with a continuous awareness of His agony. As one in my Mother’s cloister, I embrace Jesus, our Spouse, and continue collecting His tears for all men stuck in their woundedness, and therefore, incapable of knowing Love, touching Love, allowing Love to touch them, listening to the voice and groans of Love, and therefore, unable to truly love. What an intense sorrow of the God-Man, Jesus Christ.
In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus was abandoned by the men, His closest friends. He lived deep felt desolation, not only because of His few apostles, who deserted Him in His deepest agonizing suffering, so profound that He sweated Blood, but He lived profusely the desolation of being abandoned by the majority of men in every generation till this day.
Yet the writings of Blessed Catherine Emmerich reveal that the women were gathered with Mary praying at the time of Jesus's agony. They were the hidden force, united in heart and soul to their Rabboni, to their Beloved. Mary never abandoned her Son.
During this agony of Jesus, I saw the Blessed Virgin also overwhelmed with sorrow and anguish of soul, in the house of Mary, the mother of Mark. She was with Magdalene and Mary in the garden belonging to the house, and almost prostrate from grief, with her whole body bowed down as she knelt. She fainted several times, for she beheld in spirit different portions of the agony of Jesus. She went with Magdalene and Salome as far as the Valley of Josaphat. She walked along with her head veiled, and her arms frequently stretched forth towards Mount Olivet; for she beheld in spirit Jesus bathed in a bloody sweat, and her gestures were as though she wished with her extended hands to wipe the face of her Son. I saw these interior movements of her soul towards Jesus, who thought of her, and turned his eyes in her direction, as if to seek her assistance. I beheld the spiritual communication which they had with each other, under the form of rays passing to and fro between them. Our divine Lord thought also of Magdalene, was touched by her distress, and therefore recommended his Apostles to console her; for he knew that her love for his adorable person was greater than that felt for him by anyone save his Blessed Mother, and he foresaw that she would suffer much for his sake, and never offend him more. (The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Anne Catherine Emmerich, chapter 1, p.119)
This is now how we, the mothers of the cross, one with our Blessed Mother in the cloister of her Immaculate Heart, consumed with her in the inner chamber of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, living in His desolation, are to bring forth the new Adams of the Kingdom of God. Now our maternity, as one with Mary, living the third nail of the crucifixion, consumed as one with Jesus's desolation, expands beyond our imagination, bringing forth new life to countless souls and accomplishing great miracles in the world.
My little one, My third nail of crucifixion is the most painful stage to live, yet the most fecund, for our hearts are fused through pain and sorrow as one. You cease to exist, and it is I who now lives on earth through you, with you, and in you. You are one in God's grief, waiting with God for the fulfillment of My death and resurrection. You become My Body. This is perfect unity with God on earth. Your maternity, like Mary's, as one heart with her, lavishes upon the earth My love and graces. Your maternity brings new life to souls who otherwise would fall into the pit of hell. The Spirit accomplishes great miracles in the world through your hidden life lived as one heart with Me in My Eucharistic life. This life of pain and love lived as one heart with Me and Mary on earth is the life of unity in the Trinity. You now live solely for love; there is no longer any self-interest because you are consumed by the Spirit in God. You become, as My Body, a participant in the redemption of the world and His catalyst in the fulfillment of My death and resurrection. 11/27/25
Mary:
My role, as willed by the Father, to be the Mother of mankind was lived in and through my solitude (Soledad). After the third nail of crucifixion, when my Heart was fully crucified with my Son and pierced with the lance, I was then ready to love all humanity as one with the love of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As I became totally one with my Son’s sacrifice of love, I could embrace into my Maternal Heart the sins and brokenness of all the children of God. I became the Maternal advocate of the Heart of ABBA. Through my Son, with my Son, and fully immersed in the Sacred Heart of my Son I was able to enter the lament of our Father as Mother for each of you.
My solitude after Jesus’s Ascension was my perfect union of love in Abbas’s tears for His people. I then received the sin and brokenness of each of the Apostles into my Motherly Heart as one with God and embraced them in the embrace of the Trinity. I continued the life of my Son on earth after His Ascension. I continued living the interior crucifixion as one with Christ, thus living as His living host, one in His Eucharistic life, as grace for the nascent Church. 3/9/23
It is also significant, as Maria Hickein pointed out to me, that Jesus was betrayed by Judas with a kiss, and we, the mothers of the cross, one with our Mother of Sorrows, were asked by Jesus to quench His thirst:
I thirst for you to quench My thirst with your kiss of love, your kiss of gratitude, your kiss of purity, your kiss of sorrow, your kiss of desire to be ONE with Me, suffering in love with Me. 3/11/12
Isn't this also an act of reparation for Judas's scandalous kiss of betrayal? In the inner Chamber of his desolation, we bless him continuously with our tender kisses of profound love and gratitude.
May we, the MOC, remain faithful till the end, one with the holy women of God who lived before us, bringing to life a holy priesthood, a holy transformed manhood for the Kingdom of God on earth!
